Dear Students, Parents, Teachers, Alumni and Well Wishers, We are delighted to welcome you to Fr. Agnel School. It is my privilege and pleasure to welcome the students, staff and all others who visit this portal.

Education is about joy, wonder, fostering curiosity along with the development of life skills needed to succeed and Fr. Agnel School, true to its Patron Fr Agnelo, who was a saintly member of the Society of the Missionaries of St Francis Xavier Pilar Goa, continues to lead the way in the field of quality education. It has progressed in the task of imparting education which is not only modern in its approach but also based on the ideals and rich culture of our country.

Education is the process of 4 E’s (exposure, exploration, experiment and experience). In the rapidly changing scenario, it is the need of the hour to understand that life is not about expecting, hoping and wishing, it is almost doing, being and becoming. An integrated approach to curriculum implementation, enables students to generate knowledge, acquire skills, develop attitude and also help them in becoming the best of the human beings with strong ethical values of integrity, politeness, kindness and responsibility for purposeful living thus dispelling darkness within and illuminating the world outside.

At Fr. Agnel School, we ensure that a congenial environment for learning is maintained while making sure that children have enough opportunities to develop their personal and inter-personal skills. Values like integrity, truthfulness, compassion, civic consciousness, to be passionate in whatever one does or chooses and the willingness not to give up on dreams but to believe in oneself that the wings are yours and that the sky is no one’s, is what we seek, to inculcate in our students. Every child is called upon to set a benchmark for the younger Agnelites to emulate.

The pursuit of excellence encouraged at Agnel’s rests on the positive belief that every child has it in him/her to produce work that stands out with distinction. Every activity, skill or community service programme is undertaken with the sole purpose of helping the students of our school emerge as elucidated and responsible citizens of the world. Transforming individual persons who in turn initiate the processes of transformation to make this world a better place has been one of the main focus of education imparted at Fr. Agnel School. We pride ourselves in creating a culture of learning which aims to build liberal and open-minded individuals with sound moral values, who in turn help in the process of building an inclusive future of just and humane society regardless of caste or colour or status.

Today when the world is battling the COVID-19 pandemic, new ways of being and living have emerged and perhaps are slowly becoming a norm. Fr. Agnel’s has always been in the forefront when challenges have arisen in bringing systematic changes in the approaches to education and responding to challenges in an optimistic and positive manner.
