The children of K.G. classes celebrated Krishna Janmashtami. Classes were decorated in accordance with the theme. The Janmashtami tableau (Jhanki) was decorated and presented, reflecting the beauty and wonders of Lord Krishna's life. Children came dressed up in vibrant and gorgeous traditional attire.
Matki phod was performed, where a child dressed as Krishna acted to break the matki (pot), while other children chanted bhajans such as 'Hathi ghoda palki, Jai Kanhaiya lal ki... and Radhe Radhe Radhe Barsane wali Radhe...
The story of Lord Krishna's life was presented, and children enjoyed swinging Lord Krishna's cradle.
Children coloured the cutouts of peacock feathers for their headgear and adorned themselves with it.
It was a joyful day filled with blissful celebrations.
