BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT: The day was observed as Bagless day. It was integrated with Ganesh Chaturthi celebration Teachers discussed the importance and relevance of the festival. It is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha also known as Vighnharta. Storytelling session was conducted by Ms Usha Manchanda (grandmother of Rushank Manchanda) and Ms. Margerita. Story of how Ganesh ji got the head of an elephant was told to the students which was enjoyed by them. Students made different objects using clay for Clay Modelling Competition for which certificates were awarded for first, second, third positions and consolation too. Students enjoyed the laddoo, the favourite sweet of Lord Ganesha, which they had brought from their homes. A follow up sheet based on the story narrated was also done.
