Achhai Ka Parv
Celebrating Dussehra and Gandhi Jayanti
A special assembly was held to celebrate Achhai Ka Parv—the festival of goodness—marking both Dussehra and the significance of October 2nd, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji.
The programme began with the soulful singing of Gandhiji’s favourite bhajan “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram”, setting a calm and prayerful mood.
Our Kindergarten children staged Agnel’s Ramleela with great joy. Dressed up as Ramayan’s characters, they enacted scenes from the epic while Asha Ma’am narrated the story, bringing out the values of truth and the victory of good over evil.
The assembly also honoured our great leaders. Children dressed as Mahatma Gandhi with his three wise monkeys, shared the message “See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no evil.” Another child portrayed Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji and proudly echoed his inspiring slogan “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan” reminding us of the respect we owe to our soldiers and farmers.
To make the celebration even more special, children coloured a cutout of Hanuman Ji’s mace. This festive craft became their little memento, which they proudly carried home.
The celebration beautifully mixed devotion, culture, and patriotism inspiring everyone with the values of truth and goodness.
