“Children are the heart of every school, and the joy of every home.”
Children’s Day was celebrated with enthusiasm through an online event conducted on Microsoft Teams. The programme began with an introduction on the importance of Children’s Day, followed by activities planned specially for the students. Parents and children joined the common assembly led by the K.G. teachers. Children wore children’s day badges which they had coloured.
Charu ma’am welcomed the participants with a warm and heartfelt address. The celebration started with a prayer and joyful songs by Bethsy ma’am and Ruchi ma’am, creating an energetic and cheerful atmosphere. This was followed by an art activity and interactive games.
During the art session, children created a bouquet of roses on a worksheet using the onion printing technique. Each child created a beautiful piece of artwork.
The games segment added excitement to the event. Children enjoyed bouncing balloons with Kunica ma’am and Archana ma’am, followed by the “Opposite Game” which kept the students actively engaged.
The celebration concluded with a lively dance session led by Megha ma’am and Asha ma’am. Despite being conducted online, the event was well planned and smoothly executed, making the day enjoyable for everyone and capturing the true spirit of childhood.
The programme received positive feedback, with parents sending messages of appreciation to the teachers.
