Christmas Celebration for Kindergarten
The kindergarten teachers organised a Christmas celebration titled “Joyful Tidings” on 22 nd December 2025. The event was conducted online and was marked by enthusiasm, festive spirit, and active participation from the children.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome by Amar Ma’am. The children, dressed in colourful winter party attire, added charm and cheer to the virtual celebration. The session began with a prayer, followed by melodious carols and Christmas songs guided by the music teacher, Bethsy Ma’am. Songs such as Jingle Bells, You Better Watch Out, Rudolph the Red- Nosed Reindeer, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas created a joyful and festive atmosphere.
The story “Reason for the Season” was narrated by Archana Ma’am, highlighting the true essence of Christmas, the best gift given to mankind by God - love, joy, peace and hope.
As part of the creative segment, a Bauble-making activity was conducted during the art session by Ruchi Ma’am, encouraging children to express their creativity. This was followed by engaging games such as Christmas Tree Making with Glasses and a Guessing Game, conducted by Asha Ma’am and Charu Ma’am, which added excitement and interactive fun to the programme.
The celebration concluded with an energetic dance session led by Megha Ma’am and Kunica Ma’am, bringing the event to a joyful close. Despite being conducted online, the celebration was thoroughly enjoyed, and the children actively participated in all the activities.
All activities were thoughtfully planned, and parents were informed well in advance to keep the required materials ready, ensuring smooth coordination. The objective of the celebration was to help children understand the significance of Christmas and to instil values of kindness, helpfulness, caring, and sharing.
The programme was a great success, and parents expressed their appreciation for the efforts taken by the teachers in making the celebration meaningful and memorable.
